I'm back.

We had a great ski trip. It snowed over 20 inches while we were there. I would post pictures if I knew how. :P

I am pretty sure that I will be going to Union this fall, all I need is the money (donations appreciated :D)... It is a great school, and best of all, it really seems to promote a Christian environment which would be great..

Sorry it took so long to do this... my internet life has been slacking a bit lately. :D

I have been having an awesome month.....

Had a great Thanksgiving dinner at an all you can eat buffet, so there were no mounds of dirty dishes to clean up.

I got to play airsoft with my cousin.

I got to watch my dad catch a 12 pound catfish.

And last but not least, I got my license.

Elections

Its election season again! Time to campaign till you drop, not only in real life but also on GenC.

In case you haven't heard, I'm running for the Presidency of Generation Caleb. Matt Ahearn has most graciously agreed to be my running partner. Together, we will work hard to keep GenC a safe place (i.e. keep the Presidency out of the lib's hands) whether we win the primaries or not.

In real life, the Bob Corker for Senate campaign is reaching its climax. Things are looking up, according to the latest poll, we have a 10 point lead. Our surge in the polls is mainly due to Mr. Harold Ford Jr. himself. He keeps on shooting himself in the foot. The other day while he was campaigning in Paris, TN he said, "Democrats love Jesus better than Republicans"

We have done a *lot* of phone banking the last few days, and we have had very many interesting calls but the one below is my personal favorite.

Phone Answerer: Hello?

Me: Hello, My name is Lee and........ Can our Republican Candidates Jim Bryson and Bob Corker count on your vote ma'am?

Phone Answerer: Oh, yes! I voted straight Republican yesterday! (early voting)

Me: Yes! That is what we like to hear! ( I had just talked to a bunch of Harold Ford supporters before this call)

Phone Answerer: Yes! Praise God! Thank you for the work you are doing (i.e. calling people)

Me. Thank you.

Now that is what phone banking is all about *nods*

And last but not least, someone voted for me as a Judge via write in.

This updating thing is getting hard. After a while you run out of things to say..... .

My mom is getting better everyday. Thanks to all of you again for praying.

I guess that I will have to jump on the Bob Corker campaign team. As bad as I hate too. Ed Bryant would have been soooooooo much better, but Corker is a thousand times better than Ford. And the polls show the race neck and neck, so I guess it is campaigning time. :)

North Korea is being bad again... Isaac thinks we should try to get China to withdraw its funding and hope that North Korea has an economic collapse. Maybe he is right...

We have had an interesting time these last 2 days. Our Mother had to be hospitalized because of dehydration (She is now back at home and is *almost* back to her old self again ), so we had to spend the last couple of nights at our friend's house. We got to chase chickens, wrestle baby pigs, and help feed a calf. We also played risk, flashlight tag, air soft, basketball, and monopoly.

One interesting thing that happened is while we were sleeping in our friend's almost finished room (there were 8 of us, so we couldn't all fit in the rest of the house ) we were swarmed by mosquitoes! It is very hard to sleep when you constantly have mosquitoes trying to bite you. They would also get right next to our ears and BUZZZZZZZZZZZZ real loud until we would swat them away, but then they would just buzz right on over to the other ear . Needless to say we soaked ourselves in bug spray, but two of the kids still got over 40 bites each
